Lower Level Apartment for Rent

The Sink Family is looking for a new roommate. We have a basement-level apartment to rent: a large den, bedroom, and bathroom with a private entrance through the garage. The kitchen and laundry will be shared. If need be, we have a twin bed, nightstand, coffee table, and futon that can stay in the apartment for no additional charge (we would just be putting them in storage otherwise). We are asking $500/month for the apartment, all utilities included, (water, electric, trash), cable internet is available, at an additional charge. Pets are negotiable.

Our home is 2.5 miles from CSU, 10 minutes by car, 20 by bike. A bike path (that gets you to CSU) runs right behind the fence to our back yard, as does a train (runs by at 10am and 4pm). There is a bus stop 1 block away (the FC buses are free to CSU students). There is also a grocery store and plaza (King Soopers, Subway, gas, bank, etc.) 1 block away.

A little bit about us. Elizabeth is an instructor in the Speech Communication department - graduated from the program in 2006. Doug is currently earning his MFA in Sculpture at CSU. Our daughter, Tessa, is 15 months old. We have had two past roommates and have enjoyed sharing our house so far. Our last roommate assisted us in watching Tessa on occasion as a negotiation for lower rent. We are happy to make that work again, however babysitting is in no way mandatory (believe me, I have done school, I know how precious time is!)

If you are interested in the apartment, please contact Elizabeth @ elizabeth.sink@colostate.edu or give me a call at 970-443-3646.
